Early concept Logo

 

This is my initial logo for my created production company called "DracoSoul Studios". The name contains three capital letters so that the company can be referred also with the acronym DSS, or DS Studios. Moreover, bear in mind that this is an early concept of the logo's design and as time goes on several improvements might be implemented. However, the base characteristics are already present, this means that I can proceed with the explanation of design choices. To begin with, the glowing red heart directly represents the theme of health, which will be continuously addressed inside Project Insomnia (which is the name of my film opening project until the real title is decided previously mentioned on a past blog post). Further on, the black dragon surrounding the heart/soul is meant to link towards the sci-fi, fantasy, mystery genre and tone, which will as well be covered in my final product.
