Filming self-reflection Part 1

During Christmas I was able to semi-properly (due to covid restrictions) film Project Insomnia. As repeatedly mentioned in previous blog posts. There are two main settings, the abandoned rural area and the hospital. However, this last one was changed days before the recording even happened due to the current pandemic situation. Months ago, I anticipated that the probability for this to occur was quite high. Therefore after a variety of different field trips, I managed to secure a substitute setting as an alternative for the hospital plot section. This one was a modern office, that after some scenery modifications, it fitted surprisingly nicely with its designated role.

Moreover, now that I've made this noticeable change in plans clear lets go in depth into my rookie filming experience. We first gathered the key footage from the abandoned rural area setting (this is the middle piece in the opening trailer's longevity). There were many internal issues within this location, you will most likely notice once you witness my final project, how my actors are struggling a little to act due to the extreme cold weather. However this hopefully doesn't ruin the viewer's perception as its not that obvious. Also before finally starting to film, some of the dialogues were lightly changed due to the understandable discontent from the actors with them.
