Filming self-reflection Part 2

Writer Note: This post is a continuation from the previous one

Continuing on, once the scene from outside the establishment was finally filmed. We went straight into the building to record the next couple of sequences that would eventually lead to the conclusion of the plot itself. As showcased on my local reconnaissance post, this individual setting is rich in interesting scenery and props that perfectly fit with the theme of mystery in its entirety. Furthermore, in order to make sure that the climax of this section of the opening works, I will need to carefully edit the sci-fi elements on it (with techniques like sound bridges etc).

Now onto the hospital plot section which as explained before has been recorded in an office. I attempted to visually create a contrast of both the old and the new between these two settings, in hopes of conveying a juxtaposition of reality and fiction respectively. Inversely, the 'hospital' presents more technological rather than ancient scenery. We first recorded all the sequences involving the outside as it was easier to perform this when there still some sunlight. Consequently, the reception scene was filmed without any noticeable issues. However, when finally recording the last scene which was the patient one. The team had to improvise a hospital stretcher. Overall, it was a surprisingly fun experience that I will surely remember when working on the next project. Right now Project Insomnia is in the post-production stage, therefore I will need to work hard for the next final weeks.
